As part of the GCSE History programme, 26 students travelled to Berlin earlier this month. It was great to offer students an experience of a city that was at the centre of many pivotal events of the 20th century.
They visited a number of monuments and museums including remains of the Berlin wall, the Bundestag and Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. These provided a rich insight into the Weimar era Germany, Nazi era Germany and the Cold War.
