A Level Law
Course Outline
The study of law helps develop your analytical ability and critical thinking skills. It also develops your problem-solving skills through the application of legal rules, together with an understanding of legal method and reasoning.
You will be required to study criminal and civil liability; each providing intriguing cases that have helped shape and develop our legal system. The study of Law also contributes to your understanding of Spiritual, Moral, Ethical and Social issues. These issues tend to permeate the subject, affecting any discussion of what law should be.
We run a programme of events and support for those students who want to become lawyers, this includes visits by solicitors and barristers and the chance to have a successful lawyer as a mentor when going through our UCAS support programme which is run in conjunction with a top City of London law firm.
