A Level Courses

A level Courses at CFBS

We offer a variety of A-levels every year, and we look to increase our provision where there is demand.

In order to study A-levels, pupils need at least a grade 6 at GCSE in the subject they wish to study. In some A-levels, such as Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, pupils need a grade 7 at GCSE.

The A Level Programme is a two-year advanced level course aimed at students who wish to follow an academic programme of study which will could lead to university.

As a guide, most students currently take three to four A level subjects depending on the linear nature of the A level. You will have the opportunity to discuss what’s best for you when we meet you during the course guidance meeting process.
