Voting will take place online. There will also be an option to vote in-person (at the School’s Main Reception) or by mailing in your ballot.
- Each family will receive one vote. A single parent/carer from each family will receive a separate email informing them how to vote online.
- If you do not receive this email, please contact the Clerk to the Governing Body at unj@cfbs.islington.sch.uk
Please (i) return your ballot electronically OR (ii) complete this in-person at the Main Reception of Central Foundation Boys’ School, Cowper Street, London EC2A 4SH or (iii) mail your ballot in to ensure delivery, by 5pm on Friday 23rd January 2026.

Open Day at Ada’s Sixth Form, the National College for Digital Skills
Ada’s next Open Day with Year 11 students and their parents is on Saturday 29th November. Tickets are available on their website, www.ada.ac.uk

London Screen Academy (LSA) Parents Information Session
We are hosting an Online Information Session on Wednesday 12th November to help you gain a better understanding about:
· What LSA’s course and curriculum is
· The skills that your young person will gain at LSA, and how in demand they are
· The many types of support offered at LSA
· What jobs and prospects exist in film and TV today
· Where our alumni go and the fantastic gains they’re achieving
This relaxed session will finish with a Q&A in which you can ask anything you want!

Green Careers Week

It’s Green Careers Week! The world of work is constantly evolving with new roles and professional skills being created. Green Careers Week aims to promote future and real opportunities for young people who are interested in supporting the environment.
Students can explore the Green Careers Week website to explore Green careers and see how a variety of companies are raising awareness of green careers through activity resources, case studies, webinars, videos, events and employment information.

Half term workshop for 13-18 year olds with the chance to explore different careers using virtual reality. Students will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of a hotel worker, a railway engineer, or more through an immersive 360° VR experience. They will also as learn about the gaming and creative industry and the types of jobs and training routes on offer.
