ZeroHour Campaign visits Central Foundation

On Wednesday 3rd May, ZeroHour Campaign, a group that is advocating for the passage of the Climate and Ecology Bill through UK Parliament, joined our Year 12 A-level Biology, Geography and Government and Politics students to talk about the work they have been doing in putting this bill together.

Our guests also explained to pupils the range of professionals that are involved in getting a private members bill off the ground, and highlighted how various careers sectors are can be involved in sustainability.

We were also delighted to welcome London Assembly member, Leonie Cooper, who spoke to pupils about the power they hold as future voters, and encouraged our pupils to see themselves as active members of their local community who can make a difference.

Thank you to ZeroHour and Central Foundation Girls’ School for joining us for such an interesting afternoon.
