To celebrate an outstanding start to the year, 30 students from Year 9 attended the student premier of ‘Christmas Karma’, a special film event at Cineworld Leicester Square on Thursday 13th November. The screening took place as part of the ‘Into Film Festival’, a free, annual, nationwide celebration of film & education for 5-19 year olds.
The film director Gurinder Chadha was available for Q&A afterwards and some of the young cast members were present to view the premier. The film was a vibrant, modern take on the classic story ‘A Christmas Carol’.

Students selected to attend had a high number of merits and a low demerit count, showing their commitment for excellent behaviour for learning. The students enjoyed a well-deserved treat following their first round of assessments taking place in October.
