On Thursday 4th June, Central Foundation’s Year 8 students competed in the House cupcake bake-off. We saw (and tasted) refined, delicious cupcakes with a couple of surprises.

- 8C: (Tahmidur and Antonin) created beautiful blue frosted cupcakes with golden baubles.
- 8E: (Izaiah and Zephyr) brought their own decorations and created a sage coloured buttercream.
- 8N: (Rashaad) with a little help from House Captains, created cupcakes with incredible height and sweet, light buttercream.
- 8T: (S’rai, Ezra and Noah) were and incredible team and executed their vision beautifully. The cupcakes were stunning with a raspberry on top and filled with raspberry jam.
- 8R: (Jeffrey) with a little help from House Captains, created a delicious set of cupcakes with a shooting star design that delighted the judges.
- 8A: (Tai and Harry) with gold in their sights, created golden colour icing and filled their cupcakes with sprinkles for an extra crunch.
- 8L: (Amari) with a little help from House Captains, created a set of delicious cupcakes with light frosting and thoughtful sprinkles.

Everyone had a great time and walked away with tubs of extra cupcakes to share with their families.
