On the afternoon of Thursday 20th March, we held a Year 8 House Spaghetti Bolognese Cooking Competition. Every form had 3 chefs and they were awarded marks for teamwork, taste and presentation.

Showing some excellent confidence in the kitchen, most teams focused their attention on seasoning. Basil was a star ingredient both within the sauce and for presentation alongside a variety of cheeses.
With English teachers judging, it was only fitting that each team described their dishes. There were eloquent speeches and (knowing the power of rhetoric!) shout outs to form tutors for all their support.
