The Year 7 Football A team put in a spirited performance away against Marshalls Park Academy to win 2-1 in the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) Cup 4th round on Tuesday 25th November.
Central Foundation took the lead with Ketema scoring from close range, but the opposition struck back early in the 2nd half. With only 2 minutes left, Peter lobbed the ball over the opposition goalkeeper to secure a great win and see us through to the next round.
The boys voted goalkeeper Sonny as MVP (Most Valuable Player) for some brilliant saves throughout the match.
