Entrepreneur James Poole joined our Year 7 assembly on Thursday 2nd February to talk about the importance of the skill, listening, in the world of work. He gave us valuable insight into how important listening has been to his career journey within the world of insurance, and how it has enabled him to pursue his own business venture as an entrepreneur by listening to the needs and expectations of his clients over more than 10 years.
Our Year 7s will be starting Skills Builder in the new half term, and in form time once a week they will be focusing on the Listening skill. We look forward to supporting our Year 7s as they continue their journey of strengthening their essential skills.
