On Monday 3rd November, our Year 13 English Literature students went to see Othello at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, one of the most beautiful theatres in London.
Othello’s mental descent is always disconcertingly rapid, but David Harewood lived the character, portraying in nuanced detail his fatal mixture of finger snapping arrogance and abject vulnerability. He was surrounded by an equally superb cast.
