On Wednesday 6th March, AIB (Allied Irish Bank) joined our Year 13s for their last careers-focused assembly of the year before they move their focus primarily to exam preparation.
Our guests gave a great overview of the range of opportunities available in the organisations, and in particular how their professional services differ between regions which gave our pupils a great opportunity to gain real insight into how larger companies operate internationally. Pupils also heard about the key skills and qualities that AIB look for in future candidates and they learned about the different routes into the company both as a university graduate but also through their apprenticeship schemes.
Thank you to AIB for your time, and we hope to be able to invite them into school again in the future!
