On the week commencing Monday 29th June, 66 Central Foundation Year 12 students attended a traditional work experience placement, where they had the chance to spend 2-5 days in office shadowing professionals and gain a more in-depth insight into their sector of choice. This year the Careers Team worked with 18 different employers to organise over half of these placements, led by the fantastic work of Ms Shaw, our full-time CIEAG (Careers Information, Employment Advice and Guidance) Advisor. Ms Shaw has for years managed these relationships to ensure our partners are supported every step of the way, and as a result we are able to offer our students high-value experiences in the world of work.
Our students engaged in a wide range of sectors across the week, including finance, public service, architecture, engineering, theatre, education, recruitment, law, and art and design.
