In the week commencing 4th July, our Year 12 Vocational Business and Hospitality students attended a week-long placement at The Montcalm Royal London House. The placement was made possible as a result of an ongoing partnership between Montcalm and Central Foundation Boys’ School.
This is the second time this year that Vocational Business and Hospitality students have spent time at Montcalm, following the Y13 placement in March. The purpose of the placement was to provide students with real-world experience of the operations of a 5-star hospitality setting.
Students gained a breadth of business and hospitality experience within departments across the hotel. They focused on food and drinks service in a variety of settings around the hotel, the cleaning and servicing of hotel rooms, and the delivery of excellent customer service to guests.
