On Tuesday 1st July, our Year 12 students had the exciting opportunity to take part in a work insight trip to BNP Paribas Securities Services, organised in partnership with Investment20/20.
The day offered a valuable glimpse into the world of a leading asset servicing bank and opened students’ eyes to a range of careers in finance, data analytics, and global markets.
During the visit, students engaged in insightful sessions with BNP Paribas alumni, current trainees, and apprentices, gaining first-hand knowledge of different career pathways and the skills required to succeed in the industry.
They also took part in an interactive activity focused on sustainability and environmental responsibility, encouraging them to think critically about the future of finance and its impact on the planet.
The day included a tour of the impressive BNP Paribas offices, where students had the chance to experience the professional environment up close.
Sessions covered topics such as the role of a Global Custodian and how global financial services operate.
It was an inspiring and informative day that has sparked real enthusiasm among our students about future opportunities in the financial sector.
