Our annual Year 12 CV Workshop took place on Wednesday 12th November, giving our young people the opportunity to connect with local employers in-person and 1-to-1 and to practice some of the essential skills that are needed in the world of work.

Students met with a volunteer for 15-minutes each across the afternoon, where they reviewed a first draft of their CV that was written earlier in the term with guidance given by our valued partner KX Recruit through a careers assembly. Students had the chance to receive feedback on the structure, language and experiences on their CV, while also discussing the types of qualities and skills sets employers look for when they are recruiting for new roles.
With 37 volunteers supporting the event, 142 students in Year 12 engaged with this opportunity and gained valuable insight that will support them when pursuing the post-18 pathway of their choice.

Thank you to the below organisations that supported us on the afternoon, and we hope to see some familiar faces return next academic year!
