As part of Central Foundation’s Careers Assembly series, we welcomed a representative from Barclays on Wednesday 19th March to speak with our Year 12 students about entry routes into the company. It is vital that our young people have information about all of the post-18 pathways available to them, and Barclays offer fantastic opportunities for students who are ready to get straight into work.
Our Year 12s heard about Barclays’ apprenticeship schemes, with particular focus on their Higher Apprenticeships for students who have completed a Level 3 qualification. Barclays offer these opportunities across their organisation, including departments such as: Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Retail Banking, Risk, Technology Analyst and Technology Developer. These roles last for 3 to 4 years, and offer young people the opportunity to gain a degree qualification or university level equivalent. Thank you to Barclays for visiting us and sharing these fantastic opportunities to our young people.
