This year’s outcomes reflect the hard work, resilience and ambition of a year group that has achieved across a wide range of pathways and subjects. More than a third of all GCSE grades were awarded at grade 7 or above, demonstrating the high levels of attainment achieved by many students. One in every ten grades was awarded at grade 9, the highest possible GCSE grade.
The school has also maintained strong performance in English and mathematics, with 66% of students achieving grade 5 or above in both subjects.

“We are very proud of every student receiving their results today. These outcomes represent years of commitment, perseverance and personal growth, and we recognise that success looks different for every young person.
While we are delighted by the substantial number of top grades achieved, we are equally proud of all those students who have met or exceeded their own goals, overcome challenges and secured the qualifications they need for the next stage of their education, training or employment.
Their achievements extend far beyond examination results. This year group has made an enormous contribution to the life of our school through music, sport, the arts, leadership opportunities and service to the wider community. They leave us not only with strong qualifications, but as well-rounded, thoughtful and ambitious young people.
I would also like to thank our staff for their expertise, care and unwavering commitment. Over the past five years, they have worked tirelessly to support, challenge and encourage our students, and these outcomes reflect that collective effort.
We wish every member of this year group every success as they take their next steps. Whether progressing to sixth form, college, apprenticeships or employment, we are confident they will continue to thrive and make a positive contribution to their communities.”
