On Friday 3rd November, our Year 13 physics students were given a guided tour of the UN’s Palais des Nations, the United Nations Offices in Geneva. They learnt about the history of the buildings, its formation and the current issues facing the organisation.
They were able to see Kofi Annan’s Nobel prize and historic correspondence between world leaders.
The group observed a meeting of the European economic and social committee and even raided the gift shop for numerous social development souvenirs.
