On the afternoon of Thursday 6th March, 30 enthusiastic Year 9 pupils took part in an Advanced Public Speaking Workshop run by the English-Speaking Union.
A small group of Year 11 Spanish students took part in a Languages and Careers talk on Thursday 6th March. We heard from professionals in Media, Law and Engineering from Raw Media, Slaughter and May, and Baker Hicks.
In our assemblies this week, we reflected on the importance of independent reading for pleasure. Directors of Learning shared their recommendations about the books which had been influential in their lives.
