After enjoying a trip to a French supermarket to buy lunch, our Year 9 and 10 students made their way to the language school for our first French lesson. They practised their speaking and listening skills with native French speakers and revised structures and vocabulary that they had learnt back in London.
They then had some free time in Lille town centre to enjoy some shopping and buying some local delicacies! The evening was then spent having fun at the bowling alley with pizza for dinner. Mr Allen, Jonathan & Alex were winners!
On Wednesday, our students headed by bus to the beautiful ‘Citadel’, a park just outside the centre of Lille to get ready for our ‘accrobranches’ session! They were given a safety briefing and then chose their route up in the tree tops. Everyone was really brave and conquered some fears!
