On the evening of Wednesday 16th July, we held our annual Summer Concert. Over 190 students participated in the evening either by performing in the concert, by having their art or design piece displayed or by assisting with the organisation and the running of the event.

The Summer Concert opened with the Lahuk Quartet’s performance of String Quartet No. 1, Presto Vivace 4” by Franz Schubert, followed by Adagio Non Troppo – Allegro Non Tardante performed by the Mendelssohn Quartet.

The String Orchestra & Wind Ensemble performed Symphony No. 80, Allegro Spiritoso by Joseph Haydn.

Central Symphony Orchestra performed Capriccio Espagnol by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.

The Drum Ensemble performed Teach Me How to Dougie by Cali Swag District.

The Choir then sang Shenandoah and The Drunken Sailor.
The Cast of Oliver! then performed a medley of Food, Oom-Pah-Pah, and Consider Yourself.

The Guitar Band performed Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.

Fret Wrx performed a cover of The Chain by Fleetwood Mac.

The Jazz Band closing the Summer Concert with a performance of Sunny by Bobby Hebb.
The night was met with a standing ovation from the audience, and the evening continued with the Art & Design Exhibition and a reception.
