On the evening of Friday 19th July, Central Foundation’s annual Summer Concert showcased the hard work and commitment the students put in their music lessons and rehearsals. Over 170 students participated in the evening either by performing in the concert, by having their art or design piece displayed or by assisting with the meet and greet of our parents and carers, students and other guests.
The evening started with piano medleys played by Albert, Giovanni, Jeff, Kirin, Oscar and Yanis.
The Summer Concert opened with the String Orchestra’s performance of String Quartet, Op.1 No.4 by Joseph Haydn, followed by Exhilaration & Echoes of Bartok performed by the MiSST Orchestra with the Year 7 Orchestra.
The Wind Ensemble then performed Hungarian Dance No. 1 by Johannes Brahms.
The CFBS Chamber choir continued the concert with their covers of City of Stars and Ain’t Nobody.
