Success at the UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge

Central Foundation is proud to congratulate all Year 9 and 10 students who have completed this year’s United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Intermediate Mathematical Challenge on Wednesday 28th January and achieved fantastic results. Their hard work, perseverance, and enthusiasm for problem-solving truly paid off.

In total, 46 students earned awards for their performance:

  • 19 students achieved Bronze,
  • 21 students achieved Silver, and
  • 6 students achieved Gold, demonstrating exceptional mathematical skill and determination.

A special congratulations goes to Levi (Year 9), who achieved Best in School—an outstanding accomplishment that highlights his exceptional performance and dedication to mathematics.

We are also delighted to celebrate 3 of our Gold award winners (Levi, Joe and Oliver) who have been invited to progress to the next stage, the Kangaroo Challenge. This invitation is a remarkable achievement and a testament to their advanced problem-solving abilities.

Well done to every student who took part. Their success shows resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge themselves. We look forward to seeing what they achieve next!
