St Pauls Real Estate Professional Networking Event

On 13th November 2023, 11 Year 12 students in Year 12 were invited to attend a Real Estate professional networking event held at the luxury Nobu Hotel. They were able to network with students from St Paul’s School before sitting to listen to a fireside talk from 3 industry professionals in Real Estate:

  • Samir Nathwani, a partner at a law firm specialising in commercial real estate deals;
  • Jatin Ondhia, co-founder and CEO of Shojin, an online real estate investment platform and
  • Ian Livingstone, is a billionaire property developer.

They each shared their unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in Real Estate. They imparted key tips for our young people on different pathways into the industry.

Our students left deeply inspired and with real insight into Real Estate as a possible career. The location was very fitting for the event too, as the origins of the Nobu Hotel is a story of great innovation and collaboration at the highest level. Reiterating to the young people, the power of a great network and the importance of relationships.

At Central Foundation, we strive to ensure our students have regular and sustained connections with the real world. We are very intentional about helping them to build the right skills and experiences to achieve in the working world as enterprising individuals, entrepreneurs or key influencers of an organisation.

Events like these are key to our strategy. As they will each have the opportunity to learn more from other relevant experts in industry in order to develop their cultural capital and allow them to practically achieve beyond academic qualifications.
