Sports Day 2026

Central Foundation’s Sports Day took place during the week commencing 13th July. Students from Years 7 to 10, as well as Year 12 were provided with a fantastic opportunity to come together and showcase everything that school sport should be about: enjoyment, resilience, teamwork, determination and school spirit.

Across the events, there were so many memorable moments that encapsulated the true purpose of the day. Students competed with incredible determination, supported and encouraged their teammates, demonstrated resilience when things did not go their way, and celebrated the achievements of others.

The competitive spirit throughout was outstanding. Every race, jump and throw mattered, with students determined to earn as many points as possible for their form. However, the competition was always conducted in the right way – with respect, sportsmanship and a genuine sense of togetherness.

Most importantly, Sports Day was about participation and enjoyment. Whether competing for first place, achieving a personal best or simply contributing a valuable point towards their form’s total, every student had a role to play.

Congratulations to all students who took part and contributed to another fantastic celebration of sport.
