On Tuesday 5th October, 22 of our Year 12 and 13 Maths students sat the Senior Mathematical Challenge run by the UK Mathematics Trust. A 90-minute multiple choice test, testing their mathematical knowledge with only the use of a piece of paper, pencil and their brains.
The top 66% of participants are awarded certificates in the ratio 3:2:1 for Bronze: Silver: Gold
The thresholds for this year’s challenge were as follows:
- 76+ Gold
- 62+ Silver
- 48+ Bronze
