The Access Project and Central Foundation Boys’ School have today jointly announced the conclusion of their formal academic partnership, effective at the close of the current academic year.
For over a decade, the two institutions have collaborated closely alongside corporate allies to deliver high-impact university access provisions, bespoke subject tuition, and targeted academic mentoring to under-resourced students in our school community.
Key Achievements of the Partnership:
- Decade of Collaboration: Maintained a robust, 10-year joint initiative supporting state school students into higher education.
- Oxbridge & Elite Placement: Successfully guided dozens of students through competitive entry pathways to Oxford, Cambridge, and Russell Group universities.
- Academic Enhancement: Provided hundreds of hours of personalized, 1-1 academic tuition and GCSE/A-level mentoring.
- Corporate Integration: Fostered multi-agency support networks alongside prominent city firms like our partners Slaughter and May.
The Headteacher of Central Foundation Boys’ School added:
