Open Evening 2023

We welcomed lots of prospective students and their parents at our Open Evening last Thursday, the rain certainly did not turn away the crowds! Over 300 guests enjoyed tours around our school which included visits to our different subject areas and incredible new facilities.

They had the opportunity to observe a range of activities including calligraphy workshops, a drama performance, table tennis rallies, basketball matches, science experiments, Kahoot quizzes, writing mastery practice as well as debating.

Visitors were treated to delicious snacks including mini quiches which were prepared by our food tech students and Mr Brownhill presented information about our curriculum, facilities and pastoral provision to all parents in our assembly hall.

Thank you to everyone who attended, our brilliant student tour guides and of course our teachers who welcomed guests into their classrooms and gave a real flavour of life at Central Foundation Boys’ School.
