Working in partnership with Music Education Islington, we had a series of eight workshops with spoken word artist and rapper Bad Lay-Dee and singer Jermain Jackman.
The aim of the project was for students to explore their own voices in writing, singing, rapping or simply expressing themselves in whatever way they felt most comfortable.
The workshop leaders created an opportunity for students to talk about their experiences and to create some really amazing performances.
