On Tuesday 15th November, Dewey and Sam from Mott MacDonald, a global engineering, management and development consultancy firm, joined our Year 9 Maths pupils to talk about their current job roles and how skills developed in mathematics help them day-to-day.
Our young mathematicians were then able to put their skills to the test in a problem-solving competition with two groups solving the 6 word puzzles each and agreeing to share the top prize of a box of Maltesers!
Thank you to Mott MacDonald for sharing their experiences and knowledge with our young people, and giving them a broader insight into the opportunities available within engineering.
