Eighteen members of our Year 7 Orchestra travelled to the City of London Academy Highbury Grove on Monday 9th February, to participate in a day of orchestral rehearsals and a concert, alongside number of other Islington schools.
Exploring a wide range of repertoire throughout the day, this offered many of our Year 7’s their first opportunity to perform with fellow musicians outside of Central Foundation. For the performance at the end of the day, our student Jack was selected as orchestral leader.
