Dear Parents and Carers,
We finished the term on Thursday evening with a wonderful winter concert involving over 160 of our students taking part. The students performed a challenging repertoire exceptionally well and they clearly got so much satisfaction and enjoyment from the preparation of the concert and the concert itself. This mix of high expectations and challenge, alongside a supporting and caring environment to assist the students to meet these challenges, is at the core of our approach as a school. This December newsletter has examples of so many different areas of the curriculum, in which the students participated in a way that furthers their development.
We want every student to get involved, try new things and strive for excellence and mastery. I would extend my congratulations to the students for their efforts, but I also want to extend that thanks to parents and carers for supporting and challenging the students in their engagement and learning.
I wish you all a joyful holiday period.
Best wishes,
Mr Brownhill
Headteacher
