On the evening of Wednesday 3rd May, Mackenzie accepted the Edward Alleyn Award for philanthropy and kindness at the Dulwich Picture Gallery.
Mackenzie is a student who fully represents the values of Central Foundation Boys’ School in all that he does. He has shown academic excellence throughout his time at school; his diligent approach to independent work is particularly noted by his teachers.
Mackenzie is also passionate about the Arts: he is a member of a theatre company, winner of Jack Petchey Speak Out, a chorister at Southwark Cathedral and has been a consistent voice of the CFBS Music Department since he joined our school in Year 7.
Mackenzie has been nominated for this award because he maximizes his own capabilities and uses his skills for the development of his local community. This community-focus is notable in his long-term membership of Cadets. His aptitude for supporting others and maintaining exceptional standards has resulted in his award as Cadet of the Borough of Tower Hamlets.
We are so proud of Mackenzie‘s accomplishments.
