Through our valued partnership with the City of London School, 8 of our Year 12 students were invited to attend a Careers in Law Insight Day with Linklaters on Tuesday 27th January. Our students had the opportunity meet a wide range of people at Linklaters with different roles in the organisation, as well as different pathways into their role. One of our Year 12s mentioned that it had changed her perspective on a career in law, because from talking to the volunteers they realised there were many opportunities within the sector and also opportunities to explore different pathways.
Students also received expert insight on how to prepare for professional interviews from their Learning and Development lead, including guidance on both the verbal and non-verbal communication that is key to a successful interview. Students then sat a mock-interview with a volunteer from Linklaters, receiving feedback on how they could improve in the future.
