On Thursday 17th July, eight of our students had the exciting opportunity to visit Islington Joinery Training facility, which is responsible for making items such as doors and windows for local residents.
During the visit, our students tested out a variety of tools to build their own wooden coat racks and spoke with newly qualified apprentices, who offered valuable advice about careers in construction.
The afternoon ended with a tour of the workshop and a quiz on tools used across different trades. The day offered a valuable insight into the world of housing repairs and was an inspiring day for all involved!
