Our International Women’s Day assemblies this week focus on recognition that feminism and gender equality is for everyone; students were encouraged to consider the negative impact of gender division on societies.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme is ‘Break the Bias’. With this in mind, our Directors of Learning prompted students to think about ways in which they can challenge bias against women and to reflect on their own actions and language to help achieve gender equality.
