29 budding Year 7 and 8 students took part in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Junior Maths Challenge (JMC) on Wednesday 29th April.
Most impressively, Central Foundation has a qualifier for the Junior Mathematics Olympiad, of which only around 1200 of JMC participants qualify. After correctly answering 21 out of 25 questions, Ben has been invited to take part in the Olympiad.
Furthermore, Callum (Year 7), Hugo, Max, Ryan, and Selahadin in Year 8 have also qualified for the Junior Kangaroo follow on round after scoring above 80 and achieving a gold certificate in the Junior Maths challenge.
We also congratulate 19 further students who received either a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate.
