A House Cooking Competition was held on the afternoon of Thursday 25th January. All four teams were tasked with making Spaghetti Bolognese and judged on teamwork, cleanliness, taste and presentation.
There was a wonderful year 9 turnout (thanks to Mr Hudson and Ms Kennedy!) along with a few boys from Years 7 and 8.
Alleyn won by 1 point over Rogers! Gassiot was 3rd and Wormell in 4th place.
Alleyn, consisting of Tyrell, Tyler, Andre and Wassim had the tastiest plate of food and it was even still hot at the judging table!
Poor Gassiot- James, Bill, Jai and Hanad- may never be able to live down their ‘crunchy’ pasta. Ms Patel’s face said it all!
Thank you very much to Ms Linton-Hemmings for organising all the ingredients, space and support for this. It was lovely to see this group of students so proud of themselves and their pasta!
