Football Fixture: Year 7 A-G vs City of London Boys’ School

On Friday 10^th January, 74 Year 7 students represented Central Foundation and enjoyed the afternoon out on a football fixture against City of London Boys’ School. Their football performance and sportsmanship were exemplary.

The results of the games were as follows:

Team A – 3-1 win for CFBS
Team B – 1-0 win for CFBS
Team C – 4-1 win for CFBS
Team D – 1-0 win for CFBS
Team E – 7-5 win for CFBS (a thriller after being 5-0 up…)
Team F – 3-1 win for CFBS

Instrumental in the success of the event were out Sixth Form students (Arthur, Oneyka, Jerome, Taylor, Elliode & Abdul) whose organisational support and mentoring of our students were superb. These are unforgettable memories for our pupils and another opportunity to play competitive sport.

What a fantastic group of students. Their sportsmanship was amazing. They were helping me with decisions. When I gave a goal kick, they awarded a corner to the opposition. You don’t usually get that behaviour from opposition players
