Triple Win in the First Round of the national Urban Debate League Competition

The first round of the national Urban Debate League competition took place at St Georges School on Wednesday 24^th January.

The motions that were debated were

1. This house would ban reality television
2. This house would introduce a curfew for under 16s

Central Foundation was represented by 3 very successful teams:

• Team A (Dawud, Mazen, Finlay, Michael, Mylo, Billy) won both debates.
• Team B (Daniel, Nathan, Albert, Rahim) won both debates.
• Team C (Raphel, Max, Caio, Matthew) won their second debate.

Round 2 takes place after the half-term break and we are well placed to advance to the regional finals after such a strong showing in the first round. Good luck to our debaters!
