On Thursday 30th November, a small group of Year 10 students took part in the English Speaking Union Public Speaking competition.
Round One took place via Zoom and required pupils to take on the roles of speaker, chair and questioner. Whilst Mylo gave an excellent speech on how schools prepare us for the world of work, Mazen took the role of chair and introduced a fascinating speech on politics and Dawud listened intently to ask insightful questions.
