On Wednesday 15th March, 26 lucky Year 10, 11 and Sixth formers were treated to a performance of the award-winning musical Sylvia at the Old Vic Theatre.
This was a slick and very energetic performance about Sylvia Pankhurst’s contribution to the women’s suffrage movement, set to the back drop of hip hop, soul and funk music. We were blown away by the outstanding vocals and edgy choreography!
Drama students were particularly inspired by the monochrome set, lighting and period costumes, it made for a very dynamic performance.
