On Wednesday 11th December, we invited parents, carers, students and staff to watch our Drama Club Winter Showcase.
It was an evening of monologues, duologues and scenes that students from the drama club had been working on this term, taking place in our beautiful Performing Arts Theatre. Over 30 students participate in the drama club and they all performed in the showcase. The scripts ranged from Shakespeare to modern pieces. The staging and the lighting were all run by the students. They were in charge of the show!
Drama club provides students the opportunity to develop their confidence, communication and collaboration skills, working across the year groups. It creates a sense of community and support which allows our young men to flourish whilst having fun discovering new characters along the way.
