Connections 2025: Fresh Air at the Dorfman Theatre on Tuesday 24 June 2025 – 7pm

Central Foundation students will be performing at the Dorfman Theatre – Southbank for a 7pm start on Tuesday 24th June 2025. As the first performance that evening, we are opening the actual venue (as the first performance there since it has been refurbished!). This performance is part of the National Theatre Connections Festival and was previously staged, with the CFBS cast, in The Kiln Theatre earlier this year.

Written by Vickie Donoghue, students from a Pupil Referral group are made to go orienteering in what they discover is England’s most haunted woods. Stalked by eery ghost children determined to keep them there forever, they must learn to confront the here and now to unlock the key to their futures.

Each year, National Theatre Connections commissions a selection of brand-new plays for young people to perform, pairing some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow. From the hundreds of performances that took place across partner theatres, one production of each of the 10 plays staged has been selected to be performed at the Dorfman theatre, and we are thrilled that ours has been selected.
