Co-Curricular

Co-Curricular

We believe that a Central Foundation Education provides our students with a wide range of educational experiences: academic, sporting, musical, artistic and dramatic. We believe that these experiences, both in outside of the classroom, support students to develop talents, discover interests and build connections within the CFBS community.

All students at CFBS (Year 7 – Year 13) are expected to engage in co-curricular activities. We suggest, at least one co-curricular activity per week.

What experiences are on offer?

We have developed over 70 clubs and societies. This timetable is regularly reviewed. We use student and parent feedback on what clubs and projects students may be interested in to build the timetable.

Should you have any suggestions for a club or project, please contact: Ms Bridges (Head of Enrichment) bridgesk@cfbs.islington.sch.uk

  2. Personal Project: in Year 8, Spring 2 and Summer Term, modelled on the EPQ
