As part of our ongoing collaboration with the National Centre for Circus Arts, students from Years 7 & 8 were given the opportunity to visit the centre and be part of the audience for the Second year Bachelor’s Degree students who performed their ensemble performance on Wednesday 11th February. This was a piece of contemporary, multi- discipline circus showcasing a hybrid of ground acrobatic and aerial skills.
This same group of students are currently learning circus skills with the experts from National Centre for Circus Arts on a Thursday afternoon in our very own Hearn Centre. Watching the Circus Arts degree students in action has certainly opened their eyes to what is possible within this creative discipline.
