Following on from the hugely successful visit of the Trinity Laban Sinfonia Strings in November, Central Foundation was delighted to welcome back guests from Trinity Laban this month, for a morning of chamber music coaching and masterclasses. We were joined by Nic Pendlebury (Head of Strings), David Kennedy (Head of Chamber Music) and Valentina Ciardelli (professor of double bass).
Focussing on string quartets by Mozart, three CFBS ensembles received coaching from Nic and David, whilst our double bass students participated in a masterclass with Valentina.
The event culminated in an informal sharing of that morning’s work, in addition to a short Q&A in which our students received expert advice on preparing for, and life at, music conservatoire.
