The CFBS Thunderballs showcased their talent and teamwork in a riveting dodgeball tournament on Wednesday 3rd July, culminating in a highly competitive final where both teams from Central Foundation Boys’ School (CFBS) clashed head-to-head deposited six other teams being involved.
Throughout the group stages, both CFBS A and B teams delivered dominating performances, comfortably securing their spots at the top of their respective groups. The A team, spearheaded by captain Feruzi, displayed a blend of skill and strategy against their opponents. Zayden’s dynamic play was pivotal in their unbeaten run to the final.
Similarly, the B team, with Bobby at the helm, matched the intensity and flair of their A team counterparts. Additionally Jack’s consistency and ability to inspire his teammates were instrumental in their success, leading to an eagerly anticipated all-CFBS final.
The final match lived up to its billing as a fiercely competitive encounter. The game was marked by thrilling exchanges, tactical battles, and moments of individual brilliance.
In the end, it was the CFBS A team that emerged victorious, narrowly edging out their schoolmates in a closely fought contest.
