Central Futures are proud to work with a wide range of employers to offer work experience to our Year 12 students in the Summer Term. We believe this is a fantastic opportunity for students to stretch their employability skills, and so to secure a work placement students must participate in a mini-recruitment cycle.
This begins in the April holidays, where students submit a CV and cover letter for up to two work experience placements that they would like to be considered for. These materials are passed on to our employers partners, who then shortlist the students they would like to interview for the placement. In May, we held three interview days during which the shortlisted students had the opportunity to meet our employer partners and participate in a mini-interview for a placement. Our students showed great professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the interviews, with many employers struggling to make the final cuts!
